End any Ethiopian adventure boarding the Deli galley boat; the legend of the Red Sea. Deli galley, which is of Turkish origin, is the perfect boat for spending a few relaxing days navigating the Gulf of Djibouti - the entrance to the Red Sea -, sleeping under the stars, dining with views of the sea, and as a base for your aquatic dives, either scuba diving or snorkel mode.
If you come between November and January, you will be in attendance of the largest fish migration in the world. Moreover, you will be able to snorkel or scuba dive with the Whale Sharks, friendly giants of the sea.
DAY 1 – ADDIS ABABA - DJIBOUTI
International flight Addis Ababa to Djibouti – Arrive at the capital in the morning and transfer to the hotel – Free afternoon to wander around the maritime city that is anchored in its colonial past and bathed by the Red Sea - Hotel.
DAY 2 – DJIBOUTI - SAILING and DIVING - 2 dives
Boat pick up at the port - Start navigation towards the Obock area - Time for snorkeling/diving in Obock - Night dive - Night on board.
DAY 3 – SAILING and DIVING - 3 dives
Following 2 dives in Obock, navigation towards the Sable Blancs area - Snorkeling/diving in the Sable Blanc area - Night on board.
DAY 4 – SAILING and DIVING - 2 dives - DJIBOUTI
Navigation back to the port of Djibouti - Transfer to hotel by Taxi (you'll cover this expense) or walk on foot.
DAY 5 – DJIBOUTI - ADDIS ABABA - END OF EXTENSION
Relaxing morning in the city and a swim - Transfer to the airport for flight back to Addis Ababa - Change of terminal for flight back home – End of Extension.
